Policies:
All custom cakes are final sale, we do not offer refunds on custom cakes.
Cancellations and postponements must be made at least 5 days in advanced.

When should I place my cake order?
As soon as possible. Because Sugar Twist Bakery offers many products, our bakers and decorators follow a regular baking schedule that requires pre-planning. We get booked on specialty orders, especially during the busy cake months (Feb - June & Oct - Dec). To ensure we are available to create a work of art for your event, we will need as much notice as possible (preferrably 2-3 weeks). A 50% deposit is required at the time of order to secure your event date.

Do you offer cake consultations and cake tasting?
Yes. All cake consultations require an appointment and the 1st hour is free. Every hour thereafter is $20/hour. There is a cake tasting fee of $15 (due 24 hours prior to your appointment) which includes 5 different cake flavors of your choice. You should have a minimum of 1 design selected (3 designs recommended) before coming to your appointment. This will help the cake consultant have a better understanding of your interests and theme. We recommend Pinterest or Google searches for inspiration.

What customizations does Sugar Twist offer?
We offer customizations for the following products: cakes, cupcakes, decorated sugar cookies. There is a minimum order of 1 dozen cupcakes or cookies for any customizations.

How much are custom cakes?
Because every event is unique to our clients, we rarely create the same cake twice. Therefore, we are not able to give a quote (even on past cakes) until all design details have been finalized and confirmation from the cake artist is complete. All cake quotes are based upon cake size, cake flavors, fillings, design details, and materials.

Am I required to book an appointment for a cake quote?
Yes. To ensure a dedicated cake consultant will be available to answer all your questions and to discuss the design details, please make an appointment with one of our cake consultants by calling our Brimhall Store: 661-829-6761.
An alternative method that does not require an appointment: you may email the picture along with the preferred cake size, flavor, fillings, frostings, and any other details to info@SugarTwistBakery.com. Include your name, phone number, and event date. Please allow up to 48 hours for email responses. If you do not hear from us, please call or stop by to confirm that we have received your email.
